Special Event DJ MC

Proven experience as a DJ and MC at special events. Extensive knowledge of music across multiple genres and ability to read the crowd. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage and entertain an audience. Experience with DJ equipment, mixers, and sound systems. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all equipment is set up properly. Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment, remaining adaptable to unexpected changes. Professional appearance and demeanor, with a passion for creating memorable experiences. Ability to travel to various event locations. Must provide your own DJ Backline Equipment - most of the team uses controllers Valid Driver's License/Real ID + Willingness to drive to gigs hundreds of miles away Must have the ability to mix songs Ability to lift > 50 lbs

Operating sound and DJ equipment during events, ensuring high-quality audio and seamless transitions between songs. Serving as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) to engage the audience. Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and tailor the entertainment experience to their needs. Mixing a diverse range of music genres to cater to event-specific audiences and maintaining a lively atmosphere. Setting up and breaking down DJ equipment before and after events. Assisting event manager team with load-in, setup, breakdown, and additional tasks necessary. Working closely with event planners and coordinators to ensure smooth event execution. Traveling to various locations for events and being flexible with scheduling. Providing great customer service to clients and attendees onsite
