Nurse Field Experience Coordinator: TX, AZ, NM, NV, UT, OR, WA

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in the health or human services area. Active and unencumbered RN licensure. Master's degree in a health-related field preferred. Experience in clinical practice of nursing with knowledge of diverse organizational environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong customer service and time management abilities. Creative and strategic thinking with capability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience in academic or student advising and online distance-learning preferred.

Review and approve field sites and preceptors for practicum applications. Perform outreach to preceptors regarding Field Experience systems & programs. Process and maintain student Field Experience files and applications. Work with university contract administrators on affiliation agreements. Assist in resolving student problems related to practicum experience. Maintain communication about practicum policies to various stakeholders. Administer student evaluations and monitor practicum progress. Counsel and advise students on Field Experience requirements. Maintain Field Experience resources and prepare reports/documentation. Assist in training new team members and develop new initiatives. Collaborate with Field Experience staff to accomplish goals.
