Requirements:
1 year experience supervising students in their field training experience. Preferred experience with student support. Preferred experience providing academic counseling and advising. Preferred experience with Learning Management Systems and technology. Ability to write development plans with clear goals and objectives. Ability to manage high volume activities with strong attention to detail. Record of academic or professional contributions to the field. Ability to assume a leadership role in coordinating field experience. Ability to address student questions regarding field experience. Commitment to the goals of diversity and social change. Ability to work with non-traditional students. Ability to participate in residencies and work-related travel.
Responsibilities:
Assist students in securing practicum sites and preceptors for placement in practicum courses. Utilize sales and marketing techniques with healthcare facilities. Build and manage relationships with healthcare facilities and preceptors. Develop, maintain, and monitor agreements with practicum sites. Guide students through the practicum application process. Process and maintain practicum placement documentation. Collaborate with university departments to enhance partnerships. Assist in maintaining communications about practicum experience policies. Communicate with students and practicum sites regarding information and requirements. Maintain field experience resources to support students. Complete the review process for practicum applications. Prepare and maintain reports and documentation. Assist in training and mentoring new team members. Identify and develop new initiatives to increase student satisfaction. Participate in meetings and professional development programs.
