Requirements:
BC/BE MD in family medicine, internal medicine (with or without subspecialization), or emergency medicine with primary care experience. Other BC/BE physicians with specific obesity medicine experience are welcome. Demonstrated excellent written/verbal communication skills and virtual “bedside” manner. Active, unrestricted license in at least 4 of the following states: CT, DC, DE, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, NC, RI, VT, VA.
Responsibilities:
Provide world-class clinical care and patient experience via telehealth. Conduct telehealth virtual visits discussing obesity principles and prescribing therapy per protocols. Manage daily tasks, messages, lab results, and patient progress. Coordinate care with coaches and review progress in check-ins. Utilize and support a detailed clinical treatment paradigm. Supervise and collaborate with up to five Nurse Practitioners. Work a consistent 40-hour/week remote telehealth schedule, Monday through Friday.
