Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare/ human services or equivalent career experience. 2 years of experience managing a team of 3 or more reports. TJC Behavioral Healthcare experience. State regulatory inspection survey experience: Being the DRI for leading surveys and organizing survey preparation. Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills. Ability to energize, communicate, and build rapport at all levels within an organization. Strong project management skills. Experienced advising, presenting to, and persuading senior corporate personnel.
Responsibilities:
Ensure office compliance with company policy, state regulations, and The Joint Commission Standards. Ensure staff onboarding meets company policy, state regulations, and The Joint Commission Standards. Maintain current and compliant employee files. Implement proper operating procedures for employee onboarding, client admissions, clinical documentation, treatment, and discharge. Maintain office space compliance for assigned states. Ensure routine environment of care and safety requirements are met. Host and organize site visits/surveys/inspections. Assist with completing and monitoring corrective action plans post-survey. Write individualized Policies and Procedures as needed. Ensure regulatory and accreditation requirements, including internal inspections and emergency drills, are completed on time. Attend and document Quality Committee meetings. Manage licensing, accreditation, and growth for assigned states. Obtain initial facility licenses for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Outpatient Treatment. Ensure a staff development plan meets all local, state, and national requirements. Coordinate with the Clinical Training Team for staff training compliance. Assist in addressing and fulfilling all licensing requirements. Assist with the compliance program and coach the team on policies and procedures. Coordinate compliance training and investigate compliance issues. Educate on specific qualifications required by regulatory agencies with Recruiting and Personnel Compliance. Monitor and document facility incidents, including Root Cause Analysis for Sentinel Events.
