Data Migration Engineer

Design and execute a SQL-based ETL process to migrate decades of public safety data from a legacy system into the Mark43 platform.
Collaborate with our data migration contractors, reviewing technical deliverables and providing guidance to help them succeed.
Meet with a customer’s records management team to understand their legacy data structure and translate it to the Mark43 schema.
Dig into a uniquely formatted source database to uncover edge cases and ensure data fidelity.
Work alongside Mark43 deployment, engineering, and product teams to iterate on and improve our migration tooling and process.
Balance project timelines and quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
