About The HALO Trust

The HALO Trust is the world’s largest humanitarian mine clearance organization. You will protect lives and restore livelihoods threatened by conflict. Our teams clear landmines and explosive remnants of war in over 30 countries. We also deliver weapons and ammunition management programs. We embed ourselves in local communities, working with governments and aid partners. This prepares the way for development and long-term stability.

How We Work

You will join a global team dedicated to humanitarian action. We employ over 8,000 staff, with 95% recruited locally from the communities we serve. Our flexible working policy supports remote options for some roles, especially within the UK. We foster a diverse and inclusive environment, promoting ongoing training and development. You will have opportunities to work in or visit various countries and cultures, making a direct impact.

Technology at The HALO Trust

We are investing in technology to enhance our demining operations. You will contribute to our digital-first approach to information management. We pioneer innovative tech, including AI-powered drones for mine identification. Robots help clear tripwires, increasing safety and efficiency. We are developing new handheld detectors to identify explosives, not just metal. Our technical challenges involve hazard identification and avoiding false alarms.
