Controller

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, CPA preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years at the Assistant Controller level or higher. Experience guiding and mentoring high-performing accounting teams. Experience in a fast-paced technology or professional services environment. Advanced+ Excel skills and proficiency with software like QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite, and others. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Manage all general accounting functions including month-end close, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare monthly consolidated client financials with fluctuation analysis and budget comparisons. Set client accounting and tax policies, and define ASC 606 revenue recognition policies. Build financial models for cash management and operational decision-making. Oversee client tax-related matters and lead annual financial audits as needed. Manage HR responsibilities, such as payroll and employee onboarding. Mentor and manage accounting teams across clients.
