Cancer Registry Accreditation Specialist

Oncology Data Specialist certification (ODS-C). 3+ years direct data abstraction experience in the cancer registry. 1+ years providing coaching and guidance to teams. Exposure to patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. High standards for accuracy and attention to detail. Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Excel). Ability to communicate effectively with partners and peers.

Monitor team productivity for abstracting, case finding, and follow-up. Conduct weekly team reviews to identify performance issues. Maintain high partner satisfaction through regular communication. Take ownership of partner deliverables, including submissions and case completion. Monitor compliance for CoC accreditation. Act as the primary owner for new implementations and projects. Handle abstraction tasks as needed.
