Requirements
- Write and maintain scripts using tools such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Write and maintain customer-facing technical project documentation.
- Have experience helping customers plan complex technical rollouts, including identifying stakeholders and obstacles.
- Understand threat modeling and its application to modern software architecture, and provide consultative recommendations.
- Partner with internal teams to reproduce product defects and coordinate escalations.
- Provide input to on-call teams when needed.
- Be willing to travel up to 20% of the time to meet with customers as needed.
- Bonus: Experience as a Technical Consulting Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect in a related field.
- Bonus: Experience with OSS license compliance consulting for M&A, SaaS implementations, Kubernetes, SCA or SAST tools, software security, or build systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead consulting engagements for FOSSA prospects and customers involving code licensing and vulnerability audits for M&A activities.
- Own technical accountability for a set of FOSSA customers.
- Deploy FOSSA based on each customer's build environment using a consultative, hands-on approach.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers on customer strategy for complex technical integrations and outcomes.
- Identify technical champions and build trusted-advisor relationships with customers.
- Collaborate with Success Managers, Product Engineering, Product Management, and other internal teams.
- Help internal teams reproduce product defects, coordinate escalations, and provide input to on-call teams.
