Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical consulting, solutions architecture, or senior engineering focused on cloud and application performance technologies.
- Demonstrate extensive experience with Platform Engineering concepts, including automated, self-service infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- Have deep expertise in automation, scripting, and CI/CD practices and tools.
- Bring practical knowledge of observability concepts, including the Three Pillars, and products such as New Relic, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
- Have hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Communicate and present effectively to influence senior technical stakeholders and build consensus on complex technical architectures.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Architect New Relic solutions for large-scale deployment, data correlation, and instrumentation of microservices, serverless, and distributed systems.
- Design and implement automated New Relic deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible, and scripting such as Python, Go, or Shell.
- Integrate observability into customer Platform Engineering and CI/CD workflows, including Jenkins, GitLab, and GitHub Actions.
- Lead technical workshops and design sessions with customer architects, engineers, and leadership to define implementation roadmaps.
- Provide technical guidance during deployments and optimization, addressing data ingestion, performance, and configuration challenges.
- Create and deliver technical documentation, blueprints, and training for customer Platform teams and internal Professional Services and Partner resources.
