Requirements

  • Have growth or performance marketing experience serving small businesses; marketplace or vertical SaaS experience is preferred.
  • Have owned a marketing budget and channel mix.
  • Show accountability for outcomes beyond clicks, such as activation, first purchase, or retained customers, and experience adjusting spend based on results.
  • Have hands-on experience with paid search and social, sponsorships, partnerships, referrals, and direct mail.
  • Have diagnosed customer activation problems and improved conversion by addressing root causes.
  • Have partnered with sales or account teams on lead scoring, routing, and handoffs.
  • Be comfortable allocating spend by geography and accounting for supply in a two-sided marketplace.
  • Design and analyze tests with controls, attribution, and holdouts; report results honestly, including negative results.
  • Understand how small-business owners and practice managers make decisions, and write clearly for them and produce effective briefs.
  • Build alignment across sales, product, product marketing, lifecycle, pricing, and data without formal authority.
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and building programs from scratch.
  • Use AI to scale work and have a perspective on where agents can replace manual outreach.
  • Veterinary medicine, healthcare, marketplaces, or staffing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the hospital growth strategy and set acquisition, activation, reactivation, expansion, acquisition-cost, and payback goals.
  • Own the hospital growth budget and channel mix, allocating spend by market tier.
  • Lead hospital acquisition through B2B lead generation, account-based campaigns, paid search and social, direct mail, referrals, sponsorships, buying-group partnerships, SEO, and AEO.
  • Partner with sales, Rev Ops, and analytics on hospital targeting and lead scoring.
  • Set lead routing, handoff SLAs, and criteria for Hospital Success Partner support versus AI-driven outreach.
  • Own the conversion optimization backlog, test roadmap, and first-fill playbook across landing pages, sign-up, approval, and first-shift posting.
  • Analyze funnel data and customer and field-team feedback to identify and address hospital drop-off.
  • Partner with lifecycle and pricing teams on activation journeys and first-fill incentive strategy.
  • Build reactivation campaigns and expansion programs to increase hospital use and bookings across roles.
  • Measure acquisition cost, cohort activation, fill rates, lifetime value, payback, attribution, and test results; report performance and adjust investment.
