Requirements
- Hold a BA/BS.
- Have twelve (12) years of related experience.
- Hold an industry-specific certification and/or registration.
- Demonstrate expert verbal and written communication skills.
- Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community.
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships and rapport with employees, community leaders, and executive management.
- Write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
- Demonstrate above-average presentation skills.
- Develop computer applications or other analysis techniques appropriate to the discipline.
- Use analytical reasoning and judgment to make decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight and ownership of geospatial utilities solutions for asset and vegetation management and land and water crossings.
- Guide technical integration across surveying, ground control, aerial, UAS, mobile LiDAR and imagery acquisition, data post-processing, analytics, and visualization.
- Advise internal teams, project managers, delivery staff, clients, and external stakeholders on project execution and operational best practices.
- Translate client specifications and requirements into operational guidance and scalable workflows.
- Develop process improvements, training programs, and documentation standards.
- Vet and advise external contractors and project teams, and support team leadership and staff development.
- Support proposal development, contract pursuits and negotiations, client engagements, and sales activities.
- Resolve complex technical issues and provide expert recommendations.
- Present at conferences and contribute articles, blogs, white papers, and other thought leadership content.
- Review technical documentation for accuracy and consistency, and research and promote industry best practices.
