Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Demonstrate solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture.
- Have experience with at least one major cloud technology: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Have experience building high-scale distributed systems and backend architectures.
- Bring strong coding ability; Go experience is a plus but is not required.
- Have an interest in or experience debugging and troubleshooting complex distributed-systems problems.
- Kafka expertise is a nice to have.
- Data expertise is a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Build tooling to manage and monitor thousands of servers running dozens of services.
- Develop host provisioning and configuration capabilities.
- Support rapid code deployment.
- Build service configuration and monitoring tools.
- Automate code testing and linting.
- Own infrastructure that powers real-time data pipelines.
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects and collaborate with a small engineering team.
