Requirements

  • Have experience closing enterprise software deals end-to-end in DACH across multiple full sales cycles.
  • Balance driving toward a customer vision with achieving short-term project goals.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and use initiative when the playbook does not provide all the answers.
  • Navigate complex enterprise deals involving IT, business, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Develop territory and account plans with some independence and prioritize time effectively.
  • Navigate complex public procurement procedures, following processes while using initiative and creativity to influence them.
  • Bring comfort selling technical products; experience with process automation, integration platforms, middleware, or similar technical software is an advantage, particularly in a public-sector context.
  • Have experience negotiating under pressure and explain when to hold firm or flex.
  • Build customer relationships that can develop beyond the transaction.

Responsibilities

  • Build territory plans that identify land opportunities and expansion possibilities, using partners, marketing, inside sales, and customer success resources.
  • Build account plans that identify whitespace, map stakeholders, and establish a realistic path to close.
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder buying committees, including technical, business, and economic buyers.
  • Own and execute the full sales cycle, from prospecting through negotiation and close.
  • Partner with sales engineering and customer success to build technical credibility and support a smooth handoff and adoption after close.
  • Represent Camunda's value to business and technical buyers, tailoring the message to each audience.
  • Handle tender processes, monitor pipeline health, and manage forecasts accurately.
