Experience
10+ years of healthcare sales experience. Minimum 5 years selling clinical services directly to health plans.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Have 10+ years of healthcare sales experience.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience selling clinical services directly to health plans.
  • Demonstrate success selling to commercial health plans, Medicare Advantage organizations, and Medicaid managed care organizations.
  • Understand population health, care management, value-based care, quality improvement, member engagement, and healthcare operations.
  • Have experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple executive stakeholders.
  • Bring executive presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Existing relationships with national and regional payer organizations are preferred.
  • Experience selling clinical services, care management solutions, quality improvement services, or behavioral health solutions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with government programs, CMS quality measures, HEDIS, Stars, and value-based payment models is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business with regional and national health plans, ACOs, and other value-based organizations.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with payer decision-makers and leaders in care management, quality, clinical operations, network management, and value-based care.
  • Manage the enterprise sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through solution development, proposals, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, referrals, conferences, and industry networking.
  • Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Partner with implementation and client success teams to support successful onboarding.
  • Provide market intelligence on competitive offerings, payer priorities, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities.
