Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting; strong internship experience is included.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic financial modeling.
- Foundational understanding of financial statements, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, and basic accounting concepts.
- Preferred: exposure to BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, or modern FP&A software.
- Preferred: experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Preferred: internship or work experience in healthcare, healthtech, or a venture-backed startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update monthly financial models, rolling forecasts, and annual budget templates.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes by analyzing budget-versus-actual variances and identifying operational trends.
- Prepare financial reporting packages and operational dashboards for leadership and department heads.
- Partner with Accounting on expense tracking and with HR to track headcount updates against budget.
- Gather and clean data for strategic analyses, including provider capacity planning, clinical visit volume trends, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Assist in testing, implementing, and maintaining FP&A software and business intelligence reporting tools.
- Help ensure data integrity and confidentiality across financial systems and reporting outputs.
