Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Have 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical role.
- Demonstrate experience presenting to and influencing senior leaders at VP level and above.
- Have advanced financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including building models from scratch.
- FP&A or BI tool experience, such as Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Tableau, or Power BI, is a plus.
- Strong SQL or data manipulation skills are a plus but are not required.
- Translate complex financial concepts into clear, business-relevant language for non-finance audiences.
- Be comfortable constructively challenging assumptions and operating amid ambiguity and competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance point of contact for one or more business units or functions and build relationships with executive and senior stakeholders.
- Own annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning for assigned areas.
- Analyze monthly and quarterly results against budget and forecast, identify variance drivers, and explain findings to leadership.
- Build financial models and business cases for pricing, headcount planning, investment cases, and new product launches.
- Prepare board-ready and executive-ready materials, including monthly business reviews, KPI dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.
- Identify business trends, risks, and opportunities and bring recommendations to stakeholders.
- Improve forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and FP&A tools and systems.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and other departments to support consistent and accurate financial data.
