- Experience
- 12+ years in solution architecture, technical consulting, or similar client-facing technical roles; 3+ years directly managing a technical team.
Requirements
- Bring 12+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or similar client-facing technical roles.
- Have significant healthcare experience.
- Bring 3+ years of direct management experience with a technical team, such as solution architects, FDEs, or technical consultants.
- Be familiar with large, complex platforms such as claims systems, utilization or care management platforms, or similarly mission-critical enterprise systems.
- Have deep experience with payer operations, utilization management, or prior authorization.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and make decisions in ambiguous, fast-changing environments without waiting for perfect information.
- Combine strong technical judgment with people leadership, including the ability to work through technical problems and coach direct reports.
- Experience scaling a technical team through rapid company growth is a plus.
- Experience presenting to and influencing client executive stakeholders is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 8 Solution Architects, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
- Set standards for solution design quality, including guiding clients to existing functionality, documenting BRDs and FRDs, and designing future-state workflows.
- Own escalations when solution designs are contested, technically infeasible, or conflict with commercial commitments.
- Balance workload and account assignments as new implementations ramp up.
- Partner with Solution Owners, Forward Deployed Engineers, Platform Configuration, QA, and Technical Program Managers to align solution design with delivery timelines.
- Represent Solution Architecture in cross-functional planning and with client executive stakeholders on complex or escalated accounts.
- Build repeatable training materials, templates, and playbooks for solution design.
