Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in medical affairs and/or publications.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with Speaker Bureau and speaker-program management.
- Veeva experience and strong platform competency are a plus.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and attend to detail.
- Ability to take ownership of assets and material development independently while collaborating with a broader team.
- Strong client-service orientation and ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule and within budget.
- Ability to communicate project status, scope, timelines, risks, and recommendations to managers, internal teams, and clients.
- Ability to identify problems, develop practical solutions, and communicate recommendations clearly.
- Ability to collaborate across account, medical, creative, and other specialist teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day client contact for medical affairs and publication workstreams, sharing updates and managing expectations around timelines and scope.
- Translate client briefs into internal direction, priorities, responsibilities, and project plans.
- Manage account operations, including team meetings, workflow, task delegation, and status tracking.
- Own medium and large client projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and stay within agreed budgets and timelines.
- Communicate project progress, risks, barriers, and recommended solutions to account leads.
- Develop knowledge of client priorities, program strategies, competitive activity, and medical communications and pharmaceutical industry developments.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing programs or introduce additional tactics.
- Contribute experience, ideas, credentials materials, and pitch presentations to new business opportunities.
- Maintain a working understanding of account finances and support account leads with financial management.
