Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience in medical affairs and/or publications.
- Have a BA or equivalent work experience.
- Be highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to manage multiple tasks according to priorities and deadlines.
- Take ownership of assets and material development while collaborating as a team member.
- Demonstrate client service orientation and confidence managing upward when deadlines or issues need to be communicated.
- Communicate project updates, scopes, and recommendations clearly to clients.
- Devise and articulate solutions to problems.
- Have experience with speaker bureau and speaker program management.
- Veeva management and strong competence are optional.
Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day client contact for medical affairs and publication work streams, providing status updates and responding to client queries.
- Take client briefs and communicate them to team members, implementing realistic project plans.
- Manage account processes, internal team meetings, workflow, task delegation, and the status of jobs across the account.
- Own medium and large client projects, ensuring delivery within budget and agreed timeframes.
- Update the account lead on project progress, barriers, recommendations, and proposed solutions.
- Monitor client business priorities, program strategy, competitor activity, and trends in medical communications and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Identify opportunities to evolve programs or add tactics, and share ideas with the team and client.
- Contribute to new business opportunities, credentials, and pitch presentations.
- Support the account lead with financial management and identify professional development opportunities with the manager.
