Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree.
- Admitted to practice and in good standing with one or more US state bars.
- 4-8 years of experience across commercial, operational, or general corporate legal matters.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills for various commercial contracts.
- Regulatory expertise with strong business judgment and risk assessment skills.
- Proven track record of managing multiple matters independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High EQ and ability to work effectively across teams with strong listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts for a diverse audience.
- Experience using technology for legal practice efficiency (e.g., CLM products, automation tools).
Responsibilities
- Lead response to legal tickets from cross-functional teams including sales, procurement, and HR.
- Partner with procurement to draft, review, and negotiate inbound SaaS, service, and consulting agreements.
- Collaborate with commercial counsel to provide legal support for sales deals.
- Collaborate with employment counsel on personnel-related compliance policies and day-to-day HR support.
- Advocate for and implement legal technology, AI, and automation to improve legal team operations.
- Monitor global legal developments regarding labor, data privacy, and AI to provide practical compliance solutions.
