Requirements
- 7+ years in IT / platform engineering / cloud operations.
- 3+ years operating production workloads in AWS.
- Hands-on experience implementing and operating a product on AWS infrastructure.
- Proven track record in managing compute, networking, databases, IAM, and IaC in AWS.
- Strong working knowledge of SOC 2 compliance and practical implementation of controls.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience in production reliability, including SLAs, incident response, and HA/DR.
- Leadership experience leading external IT, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering functions.
- Experience delivering multi-tenant, commercial SaaS products.
- Familiarity with productionizing AI/LLM-enabled features.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps, Security, CISSP, or CCSP) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of client-facing SaaS products hosted on AWS, from infrastructure design to ongoing support.
- Architect and maintain scalable, resilient AWS environments including compute, storage, and networking.
- Lead high-availability and disaster-recovery design to meet contractual uptime commitments.
- Manage infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and controlled promotion paths between environments.
- Maintain and mature platform security posture and own SOC 2 compliance readiness.
- Support secure integration of AI/ML and LLM-enabled features with appropriate data guardrails.
- Establish SLAs, incident response playbooks, and on-call coverage for production systems.
- Lead and mentor the platform engineering team while driving technical standards.
