Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, Epic product development, and/or enterprise software delivery.
- 5+ years of deep technical experience with Epic system configurations, workflows, and best practices.
- Associate’s Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Informatics, or related fields or equivalent experience.
- Required Epic certification in one or more relevant applications: Cadence or Prelude.
- Ability to lead smaller project teams and development initiatives without supervision.
- Strong project management skills, including progress reporting, risk management, and time tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing tasks and team leadership.
- Willingness and ability to adapt to rapid changes in the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Conduct workflow assessments and propose advanced Epic solutions for custom workflows or integrations.
- Perform complex design and configuration work, ensuring proper implementation of solutions.
- Provide project management support, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for implementation projects.
- Lead smaller projects and development initiatives, taking ownership of specific features and advanced configurations.
- Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts on project tasks, troubleshooting, and system configurations.
- Conduct detailed testing and validation to ensure systems meet user requirements.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure system requirements are understood and met.
- Provide innovative ideas to improve system efficiency and user experience.
