Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience in payment processing, fintech, merchant services, acquiring, or banking
- Hands-on understanding of the payment lifecycle (authorization, settlement, funding, refunds, chargebacks)
- Experience with merchant onboarding and account management
- Proven experience with payment reconciliation and investigating transaction discrepancies
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously
- Experience with platforms such as Stripe, Adyen, Worldpay, Fiserv, Global Payments, TSYS, or PayPal is highly desirable
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, payment security, fraud prevention, and payments compliance is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day payment processing activity and transaction flows
- Identify and resolve payment exceptions, delays, and discrepancies
- Support end-to-end merchant onboarding and account management
- Conduct daily and periodic reconciliation of payment transactions
- Manage chargeback and dispute workflows
- Maintain payment performance reports and operational dashboards
- Create and improve SOPs and internal operational infrastructure
