Requirements
- Relevant experience in operations within a bank, fintech, or finance-related institution.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Deep understanding of correspondent banking, cross-border, and local payment systems.
- Strong knowledge of crypto payments and execution.
- Advanced skills in Excel or database management.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
- Dedicated workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Trello, Finastra, Core Banking Platforms, or G-Suite is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Organise the Payments team workload and ensure SLAs are met.
- Supervise and motivate Payments Analysts to reach team objectives.
- Manage operational relations and inquiries with external banking partners.
- Represent the Payments team in strategic aligned teams (SATs) and facilitate cross-functional communication.
- Develop, maintain, and document policies, processes, and internal control improvements.
- Monitor transactional metrics and system performance to report on payment operations.
- Liaise with internal and external audits to provide requested operational information.
- Trace and control financial services provider’s charges, fees, and costs.
