Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance, ideally in a fast-paced technology or B2B SaaS environment.
  • Led complex, multi-entity, multi-stakeholder annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes end to end.
  • Deep demand-side finance partnering experience in either a self-serve/PLG or enterprise/SLG demand generation motion.
  • Fluent in CAC, CAC payback, CLV/CAC, pipeline attribution, funnel conversion, and velocity metrics.
  • Demonstrated judgment in building and defending investment cases for non-attributable spend like brand, community, and content.
  • Comfortable owning a budget weighted toward program spend, vendor economics, and media commitments.
  • Ability to build sophisticated, integrated financial models that remain robust under varying scenarios.
  • Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to Marketing leadership and board audiences.
  • AI- and automation-first mindset, with interest in using tools like n8n for planning and analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software such as Pigment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive annual planning and regular forecasting for Marketing from top-down targets through regional segmentation and budget consolidation.
  • Partner with Marketing budget owners across demand gen, brand, community, and product marketing to forecast spend and set investment trade-offs.
  • Manage program spend including agency and media contracts, sponsorships, and reallocations.
  • Model demand creation, conversion, and velocity metrics across PLG and SLG motions to quantify financial impact.
  • Develop a repeatable marketing investment framework including post-investment reviews and scale-or-stop triggers.
  • Collaborate with Ops and Data teams to ensure consistent financial reporting and attribution alignment.
  • Present financial analysis and recommendations to Marketing leadership, executives, and board-level audiences.
