- 2+ years carrying and hitting a quota as a BDR/SDR.
- 2+ years of successfully managing a BDR/SDR team.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring range, with the ability to develop reps across the seniority spectrum.
- Metrics-fluent, with experience forecasting off leading indicators and managing top-of-funnel KPIs.
- Track record of building and refining playbooks, sequences, and strategic target account lists.
- Hands-on fluency with a modern sales tech stack (e.g., Apollo, Nooks, Gong, Salesforce).
- Strong command of outbound messaging and sequencing.
- Experience selling into technical or cloud/infrastructure buyers (highly preferred).
- Familiarity with FinOps, DevOps, and/or cloud infrastructure (highly preferred).
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of four BDRs of mixed seniority, running weekly one-on-ones, live call reviews, and discovery listening.
- Own the team’s SQL output (qualified meetings set), monitoring pipeline health, calendar management, and individual rep performance against targets.
- Perform hands-on outreach, modeling excellent outbound techniques and assisting reps with complex prospects.
- Develop and refine outbound engines, including sequences, call and email playbooks, and strategic target account lists.
- Manage weekly forecasting and pipeline reporting, collaborating with the Director of Sales to identify trends and address performance gaps.
- Improve messaging and sequencing through A/B testing and analysis of leading-indicator metrics.
- Hire, onboard, and train new team members on the FinOps landscape, competitive positioning, and buyer personas.
