Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting, including leadership-level positions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline required; MBA preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS, management accounting, and financial reporting principles.
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, data analysis, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Experience in venture capital, private equity, partnership accounting, or a similar investment environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial governance, risk management, internal controls, and authorization frameworks.
- Experience navigating complex, globally matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong systems and analytical capabilities, including experience implementing or improving software for reporting.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP and QuickBooks Online (QBO) preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain sophisticated forecasting models.
- Develop and enhance financial models and reporting tools to provide actionable insights.
- Manage and lead contract negotiations with external vendors and service providers.
- Oversee the end-to-end expense review and approval process for governance compliance.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement reviews and deep-dive analyses.
- Lead Board of Managers (BOM) financial reporting and support quarterly stakeholder reporting.
- Review and approve financial-system activities and support treasury operations.
- Provide strategic financial analysis to functional leaders regarding fund performance and business scenarios.
- Support operational initiatives such as authorization matrix alignment and quarterly OKR reporting.
