  • Specific track record with US, UK, and EU import/export regulations.
  • Direct experience managing customs broker relationships and high-volume shipment documentation.
  • Experience filing duty drawback or tariff reclaim claims.
  • Ability to work autonomously as an individual contributor.
  • Detail-oriented and process-minded approach to building compliance systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills for coordinating with external partners and internal teams.
  • Commercial mindset focused on cost savings and business impact.
  • Based in the EU or UK with flexibility to work across time zones.
  • Proficiency in English for application and professional communication.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all shipment documentation and commercial invoices.
  • Apply HTS classifications and country-of-origin determinations.
  • Manage day-to-day customs broker relationships and review performance.
  • Monitor duties, catch errors, and file duty drawback and tariff reclaim claims.
  • Resolve customs queries for imports and exports.
  • Maintain US import bond compliance.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers on export documentation and duty-efficient shipping.
  • Build and scale trade compliance processes for duty-liable markets.
