Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working in a clinical healthcare environment
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy standards, and common medical terminology
- Experience reviewing or tracking lab results, clinical documentation, or medical records
- Experience communicating with doctors' offices, hospitals, labs, and clinics via phone and email
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Highly fluent in modern workplace tools (Mac OS, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and ticketing systems such as Zendesk)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfort making occasional outbound patient calls
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through and ownership of work
Responsibilities
- Conduct post-visit review of completed in-home appointments, confirming that lab draws, documentation, and required paperwork were completed accurately and on time
- Monitor and track lab results and imaging reports through Quest and other clinical applications, identifying missing, delayed, or incomplete results
- Proactively follow up with labs, providers, and internal teams to locate missing results, notes, or documentation, and resolve gaps within defined SLAs
- Upload, organize, and manage clinical documents with accuracy and timeliness
- Escalate clinical concerns or documentation gaps to the appropriate clinical or operational team as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance when handling PHI and clinical records
- Flex into project-based work supporting outbound patient outreach calls as volume and business needs require
- Monitor daily workflows to identify gaps or inefficiencies in the post-visit review process; suggest and support process improvements
- Adapt quickly to updated SOPs, tools, and priorities in a fast-moving, evolving environment
