Requirements
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA).
- Experience in a telephonic, call-center, or high-volume outbound patient/customer outreach environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust over the phone.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or care coordination.
- Proficiency working within an electronic health record (EHR/EMR).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple patients and tasks in a queue.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy.
- Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite (Outlook and Teams).
- Home internet with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
- Dedicated, private home workspace free of interruptions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound telephone outreach to patients to introduce Evergreen's pharmacy service, establish rapport, and guide patients through enrollment.
- Deliver clear, standardized messaging using approved scripts to drive informed enrollment and manage patient questions.
- Obtain and document patient consent by phone and capture enrollment information.
- Update EHR systems to reflect preferred pharmacy changes, trigger electronic prescriptions, and document consent or declines.
- Manage outreach queues and follow-up cadences, prioritizing patients based on urgency and targets.
- Accurately document all call activity, outreach attempts, and enrollment tracking in clinical and operational systems.
- Meet call center performance expectations including call quality, productivity, and enrollment targets.
- Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA.
