Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise software or SaaS sales experience, with significant expertise selling to public sector or government organizations.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing enterprise sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue targets within complex enterprise sales environments.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement, contracting processes, compliance requirements, and public sector buying cycles.
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience selling across both U.S. and Canadian markets is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, strategic account planning, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term planning and hands-on execution.
  • Passion for coaching others, building strong customer partnerships, and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Senior Account Executives responsible for enterprise sales across the United States and Canada.
  • Define and execute strategic go-to-market initiatives alongside sales and marketing leadership to accelerate growth across multiple public sector verticals.
  • Drive revenue growth by supporting complex enterprise sales opportunities, customer expansion initiatives, and multi-million-dollar SaaS deals.
  • Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with government leaders, procurement officials, and key stakeholders throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Guide teams through complex procurement processes, including RFPs, contract negotiations, budgeting cycles, and vendor approvals.
  • Monitor sales pipeline performance, forecasting accuracy, and key performance metrics using Salesforce and other sales management tools.
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales, product, marketing, and professional services teams to deliver tailored customer solutions and seamless project transitions.
  • Review pricing strategies, contract terms, and customer proposals to balance client success with business objectives.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, webinars, and public sector events.
  • Encourage innovation and responsible adoption of AI technologies to improve productivity.
