Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience selling technology/SaaS/cloud solutions within the U.S. public sector.
- 8+ years of experience in the federal defense health market, specifically targeting the DHA or VA.
- 8+ years of sales leadership experience, including revenue attainment and executive-level reporting.
- Demonstrated expertise in navigating federal procurement/acquisition (FAR, RFIs, RFPs, contract vehicles).
- Working knowledge of federal security/compliance frameworks including FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, and HIPAA.
- Proven record of managing complex partner-led pursuits and building strategic channel relationships.
- Advanced proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proficiency with federal market intelligence tools like SAM.gov, GovWin, or Bloomberg Government.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Access to reliable, high-speed internet for a fully remote workspace.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the U.S. Federal Government sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Manage the federal sales operating plan, including pipeline creation, opportunity progression, and forecast accuracy.
- Lead expansion efforts within the Department of Veterans Affairs, Defense Health Agency, and other federal markets.
- Serve as a hands-on sales leader for priority pursuits, including capture planning, solution positioning, and contract negotiations.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with systems integrators, value-added resellers, and federal contract partners.
- Act as the internal voice of the federal customer to Product, Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team of federal sales professionals.
- Establish scalable sales structures, including territory models and performance management frameworks.
