Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in data operations, analytics engineering, or commercial data management
- At least 2 years in a senior individual contributor or lead role
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry
- Hands-on experience with specialty pharmacy data
- Advanced SQL and Python proficiency
- Experience with dbt or comparable transformation frameworks
- Experience with AWS/S3 or equivalent cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to model data with clear opinions on grain, naming, and structures
Responsibilities
- Own intake and integration of commercial data sources, including specialty pharmacy, REMS, claims, and field/CRM data
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for data aggregators and external vendors
- Design and maintain the data models, transformations, and consumption layers
- Build and operate scalable, credential-safe data pipelines
- Establish and enforce data governance practices including lineage, definitions, access controls, and audit trails
- Partner with Commercial Analytics, Forecasting, Field Operations, Market Access, and IT
- Support compliance with HIPAA, PDMA, and other regulatory requirements
- Support the build of a data function through documentation, runbooks, and monitoring
