Requirements
- 10+ years of experience working across design and front-end engineering.
- Portfolio demonstrating design systems leadership and craft.
- Proven experience building and scaling design systems with measurable adoption.
- Deep front-end engineering skills including TypeScript, React, and CSS.
- Experience defining technical strategy for design tooling or developer experience.
- Experience building systems or processes for AI-powered workflows.
- Strong communication and influence skills to align stakeholders without formal authority.
- Fluency with AI-powered coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or v0.dev.
- Experience in complex B2B or enterprise SaaS environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of design tokens, component libraries, and Figma variables is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the design system strategy and roadmap, including governance and adoption.
- Define the AI enablement strategy for design-to-engineering workflows.
- Set the technical direction and standards for UI quality across the product.
- Identify and address systemic quality gaps in the product interface.
- Build infrastructure and tooling to enable designers to ship code efficiently.
- Partner with Design and Engineering leadership to evolve cross-functional collaboration.
