Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Florida
- Active compact nursing license
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare operations
- Experience in telemedicine
- Proficiency with Epic EMR is a plus
- Available to work Monday-Friday, 9:00a-5:00p ET
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including 24/7 on-call shifts
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Comfort working in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Optimize and develop clinical workflows to support clinician and patient experience
- Develop mastery using EHR systems and internal tools for clinical processes
- Receive, monitor, and analyze incoming lab results daily with appropriate escalation
- Collaborate with external vendors for lab and imaging services
- Monitor clinic phone lines including patient, clinician, lab, and pharmacy calls
- Partner with pharmacy, insurance, and enterprise partners to resolve escalated issues
- Provide 24/7 on-call monitoring for the Critical Lab Phone Line
- Prepare prior authorizations and process EMR requests
