Requirements
- Active LISW or LPCC license.
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Previous experience in behavioral health or therapy documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to become licensed in additional states served by the organization.
- Comfort and proficiency with technology and learning new systems.
- Must be able to maintain a Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Review treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation submitted by associate therapists for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor adherence to industry laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Conduct regular audits to assess documentation quality and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide constructive feedback and documentation coaching to providers prior to co-signature.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors and leadership to address compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of reviews, feedback, and corrective actions.
- Generate reports regarding documentation quality and compliance levels.
