Requirements
- 5 years or more of related experience.
- Experience in test strategy across functional, integration, unit, load/performance, security, regression, acceptance, and smoke testing.
- Proficiency in test data management and defect triage.
- Ability to orchestrate test plans that meet AQL iteration limits.
- Experience with SDLC artifacts and deliverables auditing.
- Experience with Agile/SDLC delivery.
- Degree in information technology, computer science, or related preferred.
- Ability to work in a structured federal IT environment.
- Experience supporting federal IT programs, public-facing web applications, or grants management systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement testing strategies, develop test plans, and define test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software functionality.
- Manage the testing team, providing guidance, mentoring junior testers, and ensuring that the team is up to date with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
- Identify, track, and report defects, while working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure that quality metrics are met throughout the development lifecycle.
- Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to assess the effectiveness of testing processes and improve overall product quality.
