Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance, software testing, engineering, or related technical disciplines.
  • Proven experience developing test strategies, test plans, and quality methodologies for complex products.
  • Strong understanding of technical requirements, software quality practices, defect management, and testing automation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership within QA or engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment.
  • Flexibility to support variable schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends when required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product development teams to define technical requirements, improve product testability, and ensure effective verification strategies throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases while overseeing execution and automation efforts.
  • Refine quality assurance methodologies and testing frameworks to address evolving technology and business requirements.
  • Lead defect identification, investigation, prioritization, and resolution efforts while driving continuous improvements in product quality.
  • Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to white-box testing approaches that improve product reliability.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers by providing technical guidance, best practices, and support for professional development.
  • Advocate for testing new infrastructure designs, services, and solutions while collaborating with internal teams and external partners when needed.
  • Analyze technical challenges, research industry developments, and contribute innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
