Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Ideally experienced in owning large cost and headcount budgets within tech or e-commerce sectors.
- Hands-on experience with financial planning systems like Workday Financial Planning, Hyperion, or Essbase.
- Technical fluency with SQL and modern data tools including BigQuery, Python, or Apps Script.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
- Proven experience turning manual, complex processes into automated, efficient workflows.
- Excellent communication and influence skills for creating executive-level materials and building partnerships.
- Ability to operate effectively within a global-first, remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as a finance partner to functions including Engineering, Product, Data, Marketing, Customer Care, Payments, and Supply.
- Deliver financial insights and lead recurring business reviews to inform C-suite resource decisions.
- Own annual planning and regular forecast cycles for global fixed costs and headcount.
- Partner with accounting during monthly close and manage the approval process for procurement and vendor requests.
- Develop self-serve dashboards, automation, and AI solutions to replace manual reporting.
- Model financial risks to provide early visibility to leadership.
- Hire and manage a dedicated analyst team member.
