Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering, implementation engineering, or equivalent customer-facing technical delivery experience.
- Strong hands-on coding ability in JavaScript/Node.js.
- Proficiency in API and integration judgment across REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, data mapping, and error handling.
- Demonstrated experience taking complex customer-facing technical projects from ambiguous requirements into production.
- Ability to work directly with customers to perform discovery, explain technical tradeoffs, and manage scope.
- Practical understanding of AI/LLM systems including prompting, retrieval, and tool use.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder management.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to identify and execute on necessary next steps independently.
Responsibilities
- Own post-sale implementation workstreams from kickoff through production launch and early customer success.
- Translate complex customer support workflows into concrete technical plans, milestones, risks, and launch criteria.
- Build and debug integrations across systems such as CRMs, ticketing platforms, CCaaS tools, knowledge bases, and data warehouses.
- Configure and extend the Maven platform using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, webhooks, and the Maven SDK.
- Design and run practical quality checks for AI behavior including retrieval quality, action correctness, and escalation behavior.
- Set up launch readiness plans encompassing testing, observability, logging, fallback behavior, and customer signoff.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to translate field work into reusable implementation patterns.
