Requirements
- 6-10+ years working in or around advancement, fundraising operations, or technical partner-facing roles at a SaaS, ed-tech, or nonprofit-serving company.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of how advancement teams operate—their workflows, pain points, and systems.
- Strong technical foundation, including comfort with APIs, data modeling, and integration patterns.
- Track record of building tools, internal applications, integrations, or frameworks.
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into accessible solutions for fundraising leaders and engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with major advancement CRMs (e.g., Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce/Affinaquest, Slate, Anthology, Ellucian Advance).
- Strong desire to be a builder and contribute to shaping a best-in-class Partner Operations function.
- Comfort with software development (scripting, prototyping, or shipping code in Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or similar).
- Startup experience with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong knowledge of roles and responsibilities in fundraising and development at educational institutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive Partner Technical Success: Help schools fully integrate with GiveCampus and adopt our most advanced capabilities.
- Be the Technical Voice of the Partner: Build deep relationships with advancement teams and serve as their trusted technical advisor.
- Become a Systems Authority: Develop expert-level knowledge of major advancement CRMs and the broader ecosystem of tools schools rely on.
- Build What Partners Need: Take on a range of technical projects, such as building integration tools, designing custom applications, or prototyping new capabilities.
- Partner Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with Advancement Services and Platform Product & Engineering teams to surface feedback and influence roadmaps.
