Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product design at fast-moving companies.
- Experience as a product design generalist: comfortable shifting between research, UI design, and systems thinking.
- Interest in emerging design tools and AI-assisted workflows.
- Strong project management skills and a track record of driving projects to completion.
- Excellent design foundations including hierarchy, layout, typography, and interaction design.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to break down complex problems into clear, iterative milestones.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience at B2B companies.
- Bonus: Experience designing for physical real-world processes.
- Bonus: Familiarity with frontend code and component systems.
Responsibilities
- Hunt for data and customer opportunities by leveraging internal data tools and conducting user testing.
- Make product decisions by balancing intuition, data, and research to determine scope and delivery.
- Design product solutions using tools like Figma, Claude, or Cursor, and refine designs in code where appropriate.
- Partner with engineering pods to collaborate on delivering value and shaping the product.
- Build and evolve design systems, utilizing LLM code assistants to improve product quality.
- Bridge digital and physical operations by designing solutions that account for real-world workflow implications.
- Evolve design processes by integrating AI and LLMs to automate repetitive tasks.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders through clear communication throughout the design process.
