Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and leading solutioning and architecture planning in a multi-team environment.
- 5+ years of experience designing systems with scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency as first-class concerns.
- 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- 5+ years of experience building applications spanning web, mobile, voice, API’s, and system integrations.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing real-time integrations and data-centric applications at scale.
- Expertise in data governance strategy and implementation.
- Proficiency in Node/TypeScript and Python.
- Experience building consumer-facing high-traffic applications, including SEO, browser performance, and CDN configurations.
- Knowledge of Data Privacy and Compliance regulations like GDPR and CPPA.
- Experience with test/development automation and version control systems like Git.
- Experience with cost-optimization, forecasting, and high-availability trade-offs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, optimization, and scaling of real-time data ecosystems and event-driven pipelines for personalized experiences.
- Design robust frameworks, governance standards, and APIs to enable team-wide autonomy.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and establish modern architecture standards such as medallion architecture.
- Provide technical direction and cross-divisional oversight for high-impact engineering projects.
- Partner with product managers and stakeholders during OKR planning, roadmaps, and technical reviews.
- Mentor engineering peers through design reviews, code standards, security/privacy alignment, and cost-optimization.
- Participate in system deployments, establish CI/CD practices, and join the engineering on-call rotation.
