Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science, or related); MS or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience combining management consulting and technical engineering work in industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in management, industrial, or engineering consulting.
- Demonstrated experience with industrial AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts including model development, validation, deployment, and operationalization.
- Experience with industrial AI applications such as predictive maintenance, quality prediction, process optimization, digital twins, or autonomous operations.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems including SCADA, MES, historians, IoT platforms, PLCs, and OT/IT integration.
- Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs and operational metrics such as OEE, yield, quality, downtime, and throughput.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Client-facing experience with the ability to build trust and credibility with technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with experience creating executive presentations, reports, and business cases.
- Ability to travel to company headquarters and client locations, approximately 30–40%.
Responsibilities
- Lead industrial AI consulting engagements, including strategy assessments, use case identification, feasibility studies, roadmap creation, and business case development.
- Analyze manufacturing operations to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements in predictive maintenance, quality optimization, process control, and autonomous operations.
- Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders to define AI opportunities, evaluate feasibility, and align business and technical teams.
- Develop executive-level recommendations, presentations, reports, and implementation strategies.
- Assess AI solution architectures involving computer vision, digital twins, advanced analytics, and predictive systems.
- Design solutions that connect AI capabilities with manufacturing technologies such as SCADA, MES, historians, and IoT platforms.
- Support implementation projects by collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and operational technology teams.
