Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Medicare enrollment, mailroom operations, billing, or healthcare insurance operations.
- 3+ years of experience managing vendor relationships, business process outsourcing (BPO/BPaas), or external service providers.
- Strong understanding of enrollment processes, member data management, and billing workflows.
- Proven ability to manage operational performance, SLAs, and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze reports, dashboards, and operational data to identify trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience building strong professional relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience developing presentations, process documentation, operational reports, and performance reviews.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues independently.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and business functions.
- Experience working in a regulated healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage operations is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee enrollment and billing operations to ensure member information is processed accurately and efficiently.
- Manage premium billing activities including monthly premiums, penalties, and subsidy processing.
- Supervise mailroom operations, including document scanning, routing, and workflow optimization.
- Act as the primary contact for external service partners, managing daily performance and SLA compliance.
- Develop and maintain vendor oversight processes, including performance scorecards and remediation plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with claims, compliance, finance, and technology teams to improve service quality.
- Support regulatory activities, audits, and the implementation of updated requirements.
- Identify operational risks and drive resolution through effective problem-solving.
- Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and accountability frameworks.
