Requirements
- Minimum 3 years related experience or prior loan experience.
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Proven ability to originate business through outbound calling activity.
- NMLS Registered.
- Working knowledge of applicable law, regulations, compliance practices, and credit union procedures.
- Solid knowledge of deposit, loan, and ancillary products/services.
- Basic understanding of applicable lending regulations.
- Excellent communication and phone skills, including professional verbal etiquette.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with members, staff, and management.
- Solid computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Able to manage multiple tasks and follow through with member requests.
- Successful completion of all compliance-related coursework.
Responsibilities
- Generate business through outbound calls using call lists to achieve sales goals.
- Work directly with members/potential members via telephone and email to provide appropriate financial solutions.
- Educate members on product offerings and services to improve their financial well-being.
- Explain pricing and answer member questions to build value in the relationship.
- Track daily phone calls and sales production.
- Follow up with members and potential members via telephone or email.
- Resolve member requests by calculating terms on loans and CDs.
- Maintain accurate daily records of member conversations in CRM.
