Requirements
- Experience working with providers, health plans, value-based care organizations, or healthcare consulting teams.
- Prior experience with provider contracting, rate negotiation, or network development.
- Ability to use data to uncover opportunities and drive measurable operational change.
- Confidence in leading difficult conversations regarding utilization patterns, practice variation, and performance.
- Proven track record of driving provider adoption and influencing behavior change.
- Experience thriving in fast-paced environments where strategy, analytics, and relationship management intersect.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Network Performance and specialist providers, driving the Specialist Optimization Initiative.
- Partner with Network Performance to develop contracts for specialist and ancillary providers.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with specialist providers to improve quality, access, and affordability.
- Lead data-driven discussions with providers regarding utilization trends, referral patterns, and site-of-service opportunities.
- Partner with specialists to identify barriers to outpatient utilization and implement strategies for increased effectiveness.
- Monitor provider adoption of practice changes and assess shifts in referral behavior.
- Track and report key performance indicators including ASC utilization, outpatient migration, and cost savings.
