Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or related field with 6+ years experience; or Master’s with 3+; or PhD with 1+.
- Strong Python development experience.
- Strong experience working with AWS services including S3, Lambda, ECS, and Step Functions.
- Experience building or maintaining data pipelines or backend systems.
- Ability to translate ambiguous or high-level requirements into functional software.
- Experience debugging complex systems using logs, telemetry, and data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Translate SPI and system-level requirements into technical designs and production implementations.
- Build and maintain Python-based services and AWS data pipelines supporting metrics and validation workflows.
- Work closely with requirements, systems, and validation teams to ensure accurate implementation of safety and performance metrics.
- Process and analyze vehicle telemetry and validation data to produce meaningful system signals.
- Implement release validation logic tied to automated testing and evaluation pipelines.
- Debug and resolve issues across data pipelines, telemetry flows, and metric computation systems.
- Contribute to workflow orchestration and automation systems.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
